Ester is a premium bio-based ester synthesized via the controlled reaction of
purified anacardic acid (a major component of natural CNSL) with trimethylolpropane (TMP), in
the presence of para-toluenesulfonic acid (pTSA) as catalyst and xylene as a water-carrying
azeotrope. This results in a high-purity, thermally stable ester with excellent lubricity and
oxidation resistance.
